Hi guys. I have a question about the prof of language. I send my application on may 23. I attached a letter from my institution cause I am doing health care aid diploma is that right or they will return my application?
 
Well the recommendation is to provide a copy of your certificate. That must be a certificate from a university in an English or French speaking country. A letter is fine.

From the website:

Examples of the types of language evidence that can be submitted include:

  1. You attended or are currently attending a secondary or post-secondary education program in English or French, either in Canada or abroad, including:
    1. A degree, diploma, certificate or official transcripts from a secondary or post-secondary education program showing you studied in English or French, in Canada or abroad.
    2. If the original document is in a different language, include:
      • a letter from the school showing that the language of instruction was in English or French along with (including an official translation of the original document, if needed)
      • the address and contact information (phone number) of the education institution
 
So i provided letter with the original signature from my institution. Hope it will not get returned. If you can check for me I can send you the copy of it thx

Did they ask you for additional proof?
Are you currently enrolled and haven't graduated yet?
What did the letter include?

Hi. So I got my AOR. In may I was attending Health care Aid diploma course for 7 months on that time I didn’t completed my diploma so I sent the letter to them with handwritten signation of Schools principal.

The letter include following wording
To whom it may concern:
This letter is to acknowledge that ******** is enrolled in the Health Care Aide Diploma
"program at the Academy of Leaming Career College, Winnipeg South."
"******* started her studies on January 25, 2021 and will graduate on July 16, 2021."
This Diploma Program consisted of 16 weeks of theory and 6 weeks of practicum placement.
(Total 22 weeks).
****** passed her final examination with a 97average and will be graduating with
HONORS.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call the campus for more information.
"Thank you,"
Director
"Academy of Leaming, Winnipeg South"

I got my diploma now so should I send that too and how can I send it to them. Also one more question I applied with my 2 kids under 18 so do they get the citizenship first or they will process it together with me.

Looks like their application would be processed along with yours.

Concurrent applications

When a minor application is submitted at the same time as an application for one or both parents, the officer should

  • process the applications together, schedule the family to attend the citizenship ceremony and take the Oath of Citizenship together;

If I have an IELTS certificate but is more than two years old, would that still be accepted as proof of English language proficiency?
