Dear all.

I've been happily living in Canada for 3 and a half years, have met my residency requirements, and am now applying for citizenship! However, I am utterly baffled by the "Language Evidence" section on the form. However, from what I have read on the Forum it appears a copy of a degree is acceptable.

I am originally from the UK where I got my degree, so this should be fine right? Has anyone else done this? If so, let me know how to present it, i.e. do I need to write a letter detailing my reasons for including this, etc.

Thanks in advance.

If you have a degree from a UK University where the courses are taught in English, then you are good. All you need is a photocopy of your diploma.

Thanks for your replies and helpful information. In my mind in made sense that my UK degree was acceptable, but just wanted to make sure.

Be sure there is evidence that the language of instruction at the university in question is English and not Welsh, Braid Scots or Gaelic of some form.
