Hello everyone,

My wife came with me on 2016 as Dependent PR. but she didn't had to give IELTS.

Now while filling the form for Citizenship for my wife what should i say for the section "Language evidence:".

1) do you have proof of knowledge of English or French ?

2) Did you successfully complete the LINC or CLIC courses at CLB 4/NCLC 4 or higher from January 1, 2008 to October 31, 2012?

Thanks
Shiv

Language proof is mandatory no matter whether your wife gave IELTS at the time of PR or not.
You can use her degree/transcripts If she studied in English or French provided that specifically mention that the medium of instructions was English/French. Or she can attach a letter from University/college mentioning the medium of instructions.

Else she will have to sit for a language test.

She has given some English test in canada from Employment Ontario. I am wondering that would be accepted. that one also had Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking section.
