Once you are at Canada immigration, COPR + passport is perfectly fine for re-entry, no matter how you arrive. CBSA officer can easily check PR status on computer, and doesn't need physical PR card.marlasinger said:Also, COPR isn't good for re-entry, so when your partner is ready to really move into Canada they will need to apply for a travel document if they haven't received their PR Card yet. Although, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but that doesn't apply to people crossing by land borders.
It's getting to Canada than can be a hassle with no PR card. Driving by car is fine, and usually flying is also fine since anyone can fly to Canada with a visa-exempt passport. It's just sometimes the airlines are picky about allowing boarding with no return ticket.
B4 forms are downloaded directly from the CBSA site. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-border.aspMillertimez said:Do you know if form B4A is issued by CBSA or comes with the COPR?
