Landing with PRTD from a different country

This may be just a stupid question!! oh well...

Can my husband land from Pakistan with PRTD if it's issued in London, UK?

He had to go back to Denmark to finish a few final things. Before moving back to Canada officially, we will be both visiting his family. His stay is shorter and won't allow enough time for us to apply for his PRTD in Islamabad which apparently takes forever.

Also, do we need to have a itinerary before applying?

1. As long as he has a valid PRTD, it doesn't matter where it was issued.
2. No, you don't require an itinerary, as the PRTD if issued would be valid for 6 months.
