Landing with dubious COPR

Hi,

Has anyone had experience with multiple COPR issues and any idea how forgiving officers are?
Mine has the wrong eye color (yes for some reason they spelt it the american way) and also says I shrunk 6cm. From my Canadian driving license height.

I know they can correct minor things, but that's two things, both are pretty different and I'd hate it to be something that depends upon how happy the CIC officer I get is as I'm likely landing about 7pm Sunday evening which isn't peak happiness time I imagine!

Will Ottawa happily update my COPR? Without going for another medical for example?
It's not that urgent, they did the first one in 7 working days and I can wait another few weeks.

Thanks

These are very minor insignificant details in my opinion. I think that they can be correctable at POE. Call or email CIC to make sure. BTW. How did you shrink 6cm??

Thanks!

I didn't shrink, I was measured by a very short nurse who struggled to measure my on her stool and saw it was wrong. So I told the doctor, who re-did it and said nope you are definitely 175cm.
I pointed out that it seemed odd that I have somehow shrunk in my 30's but figured it wasn't a major issue. Until I saw this and remembered you need to show driving license as proof of address!

I will contact CIC.

Just as an update, the CIC has failed to respond to the CSE (now 60 days) which also puts me well over the 6 months from AOR.
Unless I miraculously get a response (telling me it's an issue) before June 5th I'll be attempting to land anyway and crossing my fingers.

I thought you landed already. Shouldn't be a problem. As an Inlander try to land at CIC office, it will be easier to fix anything there rather than a boarder.

Well I've got plans for the landing now with some friends, so I'll give it a shot regardless unless the CSE yields a response while I'm out. I hear CIC offices can be pretty long waits and I'm assuming they're only open 9-5 sort of thing?

I'll post an update June 5th. Or 6th, the 5th is gonna be a looong day (flying West back home).

There was no need to wait. Those are completely minor errors that can be corrected at landing without issue.

The main reason for waiting was that I had this trip planned and couldn't guarantee a PR card arrival within 50-60 days before my trip.
I landed earlier; they were unable to fix either of these details, she crossed them out and wrote in the right values on both client/cic copies of the paperwork but apparently the system doesn't allow edits.

Either way it wasn't an issue. I've now been up almost 29h straight so a post on my landing will be coming tomorrow ;)
