Landing while passport expires in two months!

I need some advice. Can I land in Canada if my passport is expiring in 2 months? What if i renew My passport, will it effect my visa? I need refernces also where i can be sure about it! Please help seniors..

Renewal of passport doesn't create any problem with "VALID" visa. As far as I know, your old passport will not be expired(in case of issuance of new passport) until you have valid visa on it.

Yes khurram, but i heard that if u renew your passport with PR, u need to send new passport back for visa stamping.. N on other threads, people have quoted from cic emails that PR visa becomes invalid upon renewal of passport. How can i be sure? I cant afford to take any kind of risk.

I some how agreed with you. I thing my understanding is wrong and I also need to workout on it, as I have sent my passport for visa stamping with only 8 month validity of passport.

Need suggestions from experts
