Landing stopped at Peace Bridge

guys, I landed on 25th March. via Rainbow bridge. No problem at all...
I drove to border, I have US Visa, told the officer that I am here for landing, they set me back via u turn to Canada. paid toll bridge fee, at Canadian border, I told them I am here for landing, the officer gave me a yellow slip, and within 10 min I was got my PR.

Did you get administrative refusal from USA? or they just sent you back...

Yeah that's because you did it incorrectly at Peace Bridge. I just landed on March 27th, 2014 at peace Bridge. You can't do a Uturn. You have to go to the US, get refused, get the paper from them. Go back to the Canadian side, and show them the paper that you've been refused. The whole point is that you've left Canada. Without getting refused into the US, it's like you never left Canadian Soil, which makes it you not eligible for landing.

You have to get administrative refusal or you can't land.
