Hey everyone,
I've been in Surrey BC on a year long visitor record with my wife (we got married in July 2012) and we intend on taking a little trip to Bellingham, WA to do some shopping and on the way back, complete my landing. (I'm a US citizen) I just had a few questions that I'm hoping someone can help me out with:
1. Other than the CoPR & my US passport, what other documents should I bring?
2. Because I've been in Canada as a visitor for awhile now, all my belongings have either been brought into Canada already, or we bought them in Canada. (such as furniture for our place) What exactly should I be declaring when I land if I'm pretty much settled with all my things already? Other than groceries we plan on buying while in the States, everything else that I have is already in Canada. I don't intend on having any other goods to follow either.
3. Is there a proof of funds requirement that needs to be brought for family class? If so, will my wife's paystubs and our joint bank account information suffice?
Your help would be appreciated as we're so excited to finally get this last step out of the way. =)
