Landing question? Please fill me in

I am going to be receiving our passports with visas very soon and have no idea
whats next. Does anyone know if I can land right after I get them or is there another step?
I can hardly wait to move and get settled. Thank you soooo much! :

No other steps. Once you get your passports back you are ready to land. Just be sure to prepare your list of goods to import (with you up-on landing and goods to follow, if any) and take it with you when you land. Congrats.

Landing is one of the easiest and painless parts of this process. Hopefully, someone official will say "Welcome to Canada" but I wouldn't hold my breath. So, here's one from me...
