Landing, PR Card, Social Security Number and Bank Account

I plan to do the landing procedure pretty soon. I will be arriving from USA and will be staying for couple of days. But I need to do the following asap as I will be traveling. I will be landing in Calgary or Edmonton.

So see if anyone can please guide me.

1> My plan is to do landing procedure at the airport. Then next day go to the PR office and get the PR card process done. ( What documents do i need?)
2> Can i on the same day go to Social Security Office to get the number? ( Again what documents do i need?)
3> Later the next day I plan to open a bank account. What documents do i need?

Can I do all the above things in 1-2 days time frame?

Can I do all the above things in 1-2 days time frame?

1. The PR card processing will start at the airport. It will be mailed to a Canadian address in about 61 days.
2. You go to a Service Canada office and apply for a Social Insurance No. They will give you the number, but the card will be mailed out in about 2 weeks. Passport, COPR.
3. Proof of status and a address and SIN if interest bearing account.

:

4) Alberta health card( docs needed and can it be done on first day)
5) drivin license( Alberta)- I have usa Texas license. What's the procedure.

I don't know about the health card but you should get your drivers abstract from Texas to prove driving history for a full licence.
