Hey All,
I am trying to fill the application form for a PR card (IMM 5444) to take with me when landing. I am an outland applicant and will be landing next month. I am having troubles filling questions from number 19.
E.g How would you answer a question like "your address history for the past 5 years or if you became a permanent resident less than five years ago, your address history since becoming a permanent resident?"

When do I become/became a PR, when I land or when I get the COPR?

Its all getting a little confusing for me any help will be appreciated.

You become a PR when you land. You do NOT need to fill in a form to get your first PR card, it will be sent to you after landing. When you land, you will be asked to confirm a few things, one of which will be your mailing address for them to send the PR card to you. Do not fill in any forms at this time, you need a form later on to RENEW your PR card.

CharlieD10 is right - you do not need that form for your initial landing. That is a form for renewing your PR card when it's due to expire five years from now.

Thanks CharlieD10 and Robsluv. That makes more sense to me! I just thought I read something different from this link
