Landing option For applicant who lives in Port hardy (vancouver island)

Its a question on my friend's behalf. Any closest and convenient boarder or place where he can do his landing.

One option is to go to the Peace Arch border crossing in Vancouver. This is also where people go to flag pole all the time.

If you can enter the US, you could fly to USA and then fly back to Vancouver International Airport. It's possible to land there but only if coming on an international flight.

There are probably other options (none on the Island I know of). Just my 2c.

Request an inland appointment with the CIC.

Call CIC 1-888-242-2100 and book an appointment at an office in the Island. if there are no offices, then you might have to go to Vicotria.

Unfortunately there is no CIC office in Victoria ( it is closed permanently)

Points roberts would be the closest border. Take a ferry from duke point naniamo to tawassen then its like 10,20 minutes drive from tawassen ferry terminal. I heard some people says they dont do immigration landing. However, I have seen some applicatants from this forum who have done their " landing" there.. Any experts suggustionf?
