Hello,
I'm Krishna Kolanupaka. I recently received an email asking to come in for a landing interview and I have few questions about that but first here is my timeline.
- August 12th, 2018 - AOR
- Do not know the exact date but my medicals were done in October, 2018.
- I went to USA for a few months and came back to canada in December, 2018 as a Visitor.
- On March 21st, 2019 I was asked Additional documents regarding my employment in India and I did within a few days.
- After few weeks, the ADR turned NOT APPLICABLE.
- Now, today on the April 29, 2019, I received an email from "Communication from CIC Etobicoke" regarding Landing interview.
I'm not sure if this means I received PR or not. I called CIC and the guy said I just have to follow the instructions on the email which are basically come in person with passport, pictures, SIN number, and pay RPRF 72 hours prior to the interview. Anyone I know including my brother didn't go through this landing interview but are simply asked to send their passports for stamping and this is making question if it means I will be rejected in person or anything else.
Can anyone please tell me what the process is and what it means? Thank you!
