Hello Members,

I am an Indian passport holder working in Canada and got my landing interview done today. I received a CoPR.
The officer said the PR card would be mailed to me in 6-8 weeks.

My question: My passport was not stamped or taken by them? So how does this work?
Will my passport have a PR visa,if so how do I get it done?

Thanks,
Ganesh

Since you already landed and became PR at an IRCC office, you don't need the PR visa. chill and wait for your PR card to arrive.

PR Visa is for outland applicants to enter Canada for the first time, you are already in Canada. Now you need to wait for your PR card before traveling out of Canada. You can reenter Canada either with a PR Card or PRTD (not visa). You could also enter with a CoPR with a private vehicle at the border.
