Can anyone please help me with some information. I came to Canada as Visitor,then I was in love with this guy who is a Canadian Citizen. We were in a deep relationship and at one point we decided to get married,which we eventually did. Then we had a baby who is 10 month now ( Canadian Born). After marriage my husband applied for my permanent residency card ( Under Family Sponsor Category).However, he used to fight with me all the time and physically tortured me after 2 months of our marriage. He used to get drunk and beat me crazily even if when I was pregnant. I was living in a hope that he will change one day, probably after I gave birth to my child. But it was my luck that he did not changed at all. So,I had no option but to leave him and called the police on him,since I was worried about my son as well. So,now we are not living together and our relationship is in a process of getting divorce. However, I recently got email regrading to that application which my husband filed from CIC to go to visit Etobicoke office for landing interview. It looks like he did not cancelled my application yet. I was thinking of applying under H & C ground. But my interview is in next week,but since I am not leaving with my husband, Do you think they will grant my PR without my husband? Should I go their and tell them everything and they will consider my situation and grant me PR? OR they will just withdraw my application,even if I was in a abusive relationship? Any suggestion for me please,as I am feeling very helpless now
