landing interview at Hamilton waiting time

Hi,guys

I got a letter atApril 18 th says my application has been completed and The Hamilton cic will be comtacting for The interview.

Anybody in The same situation?IT has been 6weeks now,nothing from them Huh

Why don't you follow up with your local MP (member of parliament)? Just get to their office and ask for a follow up, they will get back to you in 48 hours. They have their own inside contacts.

The contact with local MP will not help much I think those days are gone. Unless you have had more affirmative experiences or I am getting the wrong person. Yes the MPs assistant can send an email at least but I was told they are likely to get a response such as keep waiting. They wont give a definitive answer u could try sending a fax. to the local CIC but again i guess they must get a lot of requests and such types of requests like when will my interview be are low on their priority.

Likely with cutbacks under the previous government they do have more work to do. As i mentioned also in this area they process docs for a lot of migrant workers related to niagara region fruit production.

Other factors relate to refugee processing and i think this may have slowed down this office a bit compared to several years ago when it was relatively fast.

Try not to stress u are in the final phase of a lengthy process.

If i am wrong about MP support in other areas please share your stories.
