Hi everyone,
Can you people please share the timelines/experience of landing in the GTA area after getting Confirmation of Permanent Residence?

I am in the process of getting my PR and wondering how much time does it take for getting landing appointment in GTA. I think it will be useful for a lot of people here who are in the process of getting their PR!

Thanks in advance for sharing the info!

Would be much easier AND faster to flagpole at Niagara than trying to get an appointment at CIC offices. Go early some day and you should be done quickly

Thanks for the response! I just don't want to flagpole, don't have a visa and not looking forward to getting an administrative refusal for flagpoling. I have heard mixed opinions about administrative refusal, so thinking of not having to do it if the wait time for an appointment is a week or so.

Definitely more than a week - in-fact 6-8 weeks if I remember right. But yea, if you do not want the admin refusal, then yes this is your only option

I was about to suggest doing some shopping in Buffalo to not flagpole, but you do not have a visa so this whole exercise is not an option
