Guys,
I got my PPR a few days back and will be doing my landing in a few weeks. I am a Quebec Skilled Worker applicant and have every intention to settle in Quebec. BUT, I dont have an address yet in Quebec and I will be returning to the US in about 5 days after landing.

My question is, Can I supply an Ottawa address for my landing in Montreal ? Will it be accepted ?

Hi

the best option is to provide an quebec address

hope this help u

welcome to Quebec it a great place

Normally immigrants arrive to hotels and then settle down in an apartment, you can give the hotel address in Quebec until you have a permanent lease with permanent address. But I wouldn't advise an Ottawa address.

Also are you entering Canada with passport and visa stamp? or you already have a permanent resident card? be aware that the first time you arrive to Quebec, in the airport you have to meet immigration authorities and apply for permanent resident card, that card arrives in around 20-30 days, I recommend you to wait until you get that card otherwise you won't be able to return if you exit back to the US in the 5 days. Of course depends if you have PRC or visa.

No you should provide a Quebec address. You may get refused and your visa my be canceled if they suspect you don't plan to live in Quebec.

Do not give a hotel address. You are asked for an address in order to mail your PR card. You don't want it to be mailed to the hotel.

You may choose not to provide address for now and inform officer that you would be staying in a hotel or with a friend for now and you will update your address in the website within 6 months.

Agreed. If you give a non-Quebec address for your PR card mailing, you may be refused landing and your PR visa canceled.
