Landing in Canada... transit through UK

Hi all. I am supposed to arrive in Canada from a BA flight (initial) with a layover at Heathrow. I am from Pakistan. I can't see if I need a transit visa fpr the UK or not? This is urgent as my canada visa expires 31st august, so I must be in Canada before then. Please advise.

i guess so. I applied for PGWP before leaving, which is being processed, and I have a valid study permit. so maybe entering as student.

You need to be holding a valid TRV to be able to get on a flight and fly to Canada. Do you have a valid TRV?

Hi! You do not need a transit visa for a layover. You can enter Canada without any issue if your TRV is valid. Regards!
