Landing in Canada - H1B in the US

I am currently working in the U.S. on H1B and just got Canadian permanent resident visa stamped from the Consulate in Buffalo. I am planning to complete the landing process next month. My questions:

1) Can I leave Canada the day I enter ( I just want to enter to complete landing formality)? Will it be okay?
2) What documents I need to carry and what is the process?

The next question is related to US Immigration:
3) My H1B visa on passport expires Dec 2011 and I have a new I797 H1B valid until March 2012. My PERM was just applied. Will I have ANY issues reentering the U.S.?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

As for as lending process is concerned, there is no stated rule that you have to stay in Canada for certain number of days. Yes, you can come back the same days afting lending is complete.

But don't forget to give US mailing address on your PR application, which you will will upon landing.

Secondly, coming back to US will not be an issue, you can enter US within 30 days even if your visa is expired.

Thanks
