Is it possible for spouse/dependants to land after the visa expiry date? (PA will land within the expiry date)
thanks
swapnochary

No, it is not possible for anyone to land after their visa expiry date. If the PA lands before, he gets his PR. If the dependants let their PR visa expire, the PA must apply to sponsor them.

@ Leon
Thanks you so much for this info.

i got my visa on staurday , i have a question if you can answer pls

i am going there along with my wife and daughter, however they will return within one month.
is it absolute necessary that they have PR card with them when they return back to India, or it can be done without PR card .

Congrats !
Leaving Canada isn't the problem - however, returning back is.
Besides, if there's a photo issue - u'd face difficulties/hassles/additional processess/expenditures.

HI all,

I am a FSW and shall be landing in Winnipeg.

When providing the IO the address and the contact number, shall I have to mention that its my friend's address and phone number (As I shall be returning back from Canada to US within 3 days with family)....Or do I need to mention as "In care of" (friend's name),,as it is asked on the SIN form ??

Thank you

ppatra,

the io will probably ask you to provide your own address at a later time and not accepting your friend's address (because you are not living there)

Just provide the address where you want your Cards to be mailed.

Hello Friend

I got a mail from Scotia Bank about the new account.

They have done it in just 4 Days as I submitted my application on Monday & today I received a email about my new account as well.

Lucky you are to have this option before landing... It really eases concern of carrying POF .... All the very best mate for your landing
