In cash or proof of fund in account

Cash, bank draft, money order, travellers' cheques, certified cheque, pre-loaded cash card, bank statement (with proof of immediate access to funds).

Any and all combinations of the above.

As a newly landing PR you will have a pleasant experience at the airport - they will welcome you and greet you with smiles. Be ready with your papers in hand, POF, canadian address...etc. Nothing to worry about.

Be sure to declare your funds or food items you are carrying..etc. Customs officers have zero tolerance to items not declared, you could be fined or imprisoned for not declaring funds above 10kCAD.

Thank you emamabd

if my 50% money is in my Bangladesh savings account which I can show by statement and bank solvency certificate less amount is by cash as 6-7 thousand as it is not allowed to carry more than 5000/7000 dollar from Bangladesh airport then is it ok in Toronto airport?

Hello Guys,

which Documents will be required in my hand? Is it necessary for example to keep my education certificate and my Employer References also in my hand? Or they do not need it. do i have to keep photo copies of the same?

Immigration officer would need:
Passport with the immigration visa, COPR,canadian address and POF (Immigration officer might ask to see the funds)

Customs:
Customs officers would need your filled declaration card (you will get the form in flight), list of accompanying goods and list of goods to follow. You should also have a colored photo of any jewelry accompanying, or will be arriving later. Customs officers will ask you to fill and sign a form if you have funds above 10kCAD, and may also ask to see the funds.

Dear Experts and Seniors,

Please need advice, I had applied for FSWP2014 ( NOT Provisional Nominee program)
and mention destination as Nova Scotia.

Now I want to travel n settle in Toronto.

Is it mandatory to land in Nova Scotia and do the PR formalities ?

Do I have to stay for certain period in Nova Scotia?

Now my COPR has written following

Category: SW1
Prov of dest: NS
City of dest: Cape Breton

Please Advise
Thank you

You can land and settle anywhere (except QC) if you did not get PR through PNP.
