Hi Forumites,
I have a question regarding Driver's license in Ontario:
I've read that if we get a "experience letter" from our country of origin, then it helps in reducing the wait period for getting driver's license in Canada.
I'm from New Delhi, India and I was able to get an "EXTRACT OF DRIVING LICENSE" from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Delhi. It is a document that shows the following:
Driving License No., Date of Issue, Name, Father's name, DOB, Validity and class of vehicles that I can drive. It also has the signature of the RTO inspector and Indian government's stamp on it.
Will this suffice as a document for considering my years of experience outside Canada? Or do I need anything else?
Cheers,
LazyBoy
