Just landed in the Calgary CIC office yesterday. Tip for anyone considers inland landing - go early. They schedule quite a few people to do this in an hour. About 10 families yesterday I was the last one in queue so waited for about 50 minutes for my turn. The landing interview was short enough - about 5 minutes! One benefit of landing in CIC office is that you can go directly to get the new SIN right away;)

No other questions were asked. The CIC officer put a remark on my copy for the corrected org entry date - which she said it is irrelevant regarding future citizenship time count but I insisted her to put the correct date on my paper.

Just bring your copr, passport and work/study permit you should be all good!

Happy Landing!

Thank you Mel for sharing.

Did you call to make an appointment or you just showed up there?

You have to call CIC to make an appointment, I'm not sure you would be able to just show up as they are very busy.

I landed at the Carway border crossing on April 16. Very simple process, I was only asked for passport, COPR, and current work permit. 5-10 minutes of waiting, and then I signed my COPR and was on my way.
