My new landing date is July 25, and I'm about ready to buy the ticket. But, the wife and I had the idea to go to Vancouver for a few days since she's off work then. I ship my stuff the 24th, land in Vancouver (not looking forward to it, 'cause I've been through customs there and the wait was looooong) on the 25th, we spend a few days there (in a hotel with a laptop safe so my documents stay safe), and then fly home to Edmonton around the time my boxes should get there.
Is this okay, or do I have to land in the province/city I said I was going to live in? I'm ultimately going there, just wanna have a bit of fun in Vancouver for a few days first.
