Hi,

For those who are already working here, can you choose when you want to do the landing process? I've already obtained my PR visa in my passport and my COPR. I'm not ready to land yet as I need to travel quite a bit for now. Can i still fly in and out with my current work visa? Or will immigration ask me why I'm not landing since I already have the COPR? Tried calling CIC but can't get to the right person. I know the COPR has a date and as long as you land before that, it should be ok.

Anyone who travels frequently ever have this situation?

Thanks

Yes. If anyone who has experience with this please help. Seems like this should be quiet a common thing to face for people already on a work permit here in Canada.

I tried calling CIC but when i finally got someone to answer they passed me on but no one answered the 2nd time...

Thanks again

I need answer to this question too. So anyone?

So I managed to get an advise on this. I was told its ok just as long as the COPR is valid. Just tell the officer that you need to travel and will do the landing later.

Hi @adrlim
Were you able to travel in and out with valid work visa and landing not done (without PR card)
