Hi All,
After spending more than a year in nail biting tension I finally landed in Canada to alidate the PR and complete the formalities. Landed yesterday 1300hrs Toronto local time.
The entire immigration process was a breeze, and it took less than the time it takes for you at the US airport with a business visa!! the immigration staff were all extremely warm and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable ass opposed to the US border security who makes everybody feel like a most wanted criminal!!
booked a room with safehomestay (www.safehometay.com) in their forest manor property, very clean, neat an comfortable place. The owner is a very friendly guy who came to pick us up at the airport and was full of information and tips on life in Canada all the way back to the condo.
Will go and start with filling out forms and all the other paperwork on Monday.
I wish to personally thank each and every one of you on this forum for making this entire transition way more easy and stressless with all the information and tips being provided here. Great job one and all.
