Hi Everyone,

With the grace of God we landed in Vancouver on 5th July 2013. The landing formalities were very smooth, after going through Immigration Counter, they directed us to the New Immigrant Section, where they asked us basic things (mostly from the CoPR) and then directed us to the Officer who asked us few questions like do we have any criminal history? Were we ever in past denied from entering Canada? etc (answer to all of them was 'NO'). Then she asked us to sit and wait while she completed the formalities and followed by welcoming us to Canada and greeting us on becoming PR.

There was no need to fill the PR application form, as they said for the first time its automatically done and delivered to the address given in 6 - 8 weeks.

Then we claimed our baggage and went through Customs, we handed them the declaration card (which was given to us in the flight). No one asked us for the B4 form.

The following Monday, we visited Services Canada Office and got our SIN number in just 15-20 minutes. So thats all folks, now we are looking forward for the driving license part, which we will hopefully finish this week and then all set to start the struggle filled journey in this dream land.

Good luck to all who are about to land and who are in waiting state. Wish to see you all here soon.

If you have goods to follow, you would have to visit the nearest CBSA office to get the B4 form stamped before your goods arrived Canada, in order for duty fee.
