Check kijiji.ca and try finding an apartment and contact the landlord and reserve it.
Since you're alone, 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 apartment is enough for you.
Once you land, take your copr and go to the nearest service Canada office and apply for social insurance number, you will be given the SIN right away and your card will delivered within 10 days.
Then take an appointment to take your driving license tests ( theory & driving )
Internet providers: Bell, videotron, distributel, acanac, bravo telecom ( check the prices online and chose what suits you best).
Cars 10 years old or older are tax free to register but you will have to pay the plate number every year arround 280$.

Everywhere is good in Québec,
If you don't speak French, I will advise you stay in Montreal or Gatineau.
But if you french is good, quebec city chaudière appalanche.

The little cities have more jobs to offer, it more calm and relax with almost all the services available to you. No traffic etc but french is highly needed.
If your french level is b2, I ll advise the little cities, you learn and adapt faster because everyone speaks french.

English schooling for kids, its also an important aspect to consider because most of the aspirants background may be with English and in Quebec its french medium schools in common.

If you are CSQ or PR holder in Quebec and want to send your child in Public school than French is the only option ,if you want to send them to English you will have to opt for private schools (where fees is exorbitant)..

At school, she will learn french, then during extra activities she will learn english

Hello,

I am Lebanese and married and we both have received our visas and done our CSQ for our move to Quebec. Unfortunately, my wife and I have been having some problems. I would like to ask if anyone could provide me with information based on the same issue I am facing. We are currently trying to work things out but just to be on the safe side would it affect our move if we consider separation? Also, I was wondering how long does the PR usually take and can I started with the process and leave Canada and get the PR while I'm outside of Canada?
