Hey Guys,
Today i have completed a week in Toronto. Yesterday i shifted to my new Home in Toronto. I would say please do not book a house directly from your country, 1st book a guest house for initial days , that is what i did.
The reason behind this is that the photos may look too good on the website but may not be a good deal once you come and see the house. Some people do book a house seeing the photos on the website but when they actually see the house, they might not like it (If a person is a Bachelor, i think that could be manageable but with a family it's not possible). The other possibility is that house might be good but might not be in a good locality.
I know the guest houses are bit expensive but to avoid the future hassles that is good. Once you land here you can check some of the house rental sites as mentioned below which are good and finding a house is not at all difficult.
Last week i completed all the formalities like Applying for PR & Sin Card, Opening a Bank account, Visiting YMCA and settlement agency in my neighborhood.
