Landing Done - No PR Card - Need to travel

Hi Group members,

I have a particular problem, I have the date to do landing as 14 Feb 2018, I am traveling to India on Jan 15. Even If i go to Niagara for landing I am not sure if I will receive my PR Card till 15 Jan. What should I do?
Is the PR card needed during leaving Canada? I guess it will be required only while coming back in.

Please suggest.

A PR card is not required to leave Canada. It you are returning to Canada without the PR card, you have two options:
1. Apply for a permanent resident travel document (PRTD) from India. See link below.
2. Fly from India to the US, then cross the US-Canada border by a private vehicle if you have a visa to the US.
