LANDING DEADLINE

Good afternoon,

Does anyone know after receiving your PR, how long do you have to land in Canada ? (E.g. must land within say, 3 months of receiving PR?)

Also, is there anything that we could do to lengthen same ?

It's within 1 year of the date of your medical.

You can't extend. You have to land on or before the landing date specified on your visa.

I've been told by an agent that we have 1 year to land from the date of receiving the Visa. Special consideration can be made after that 1 year too, if proper methods are followed. I am not aware of that procedure though.

Your agent is wrong about it being 1 year from the date of receiving the visa.
