Landing by Car in different province from nominating province

Dear All,

Did anyone face this situation before ? I understand it is quiet common to do landing by flight in different province from nominating province due to no direct flight or even cheaper flight , however you have evidence through your flight ticket that you are heading to the nominating province

However in my case , i live in USA near Nova Scotia , so i plan to drive , but Nova Scotia doesn't have border with USA , so i have to go through new brunswick and do landing before proceeding to Nova Scotia .

Any similar experience, I appreciate if you please share

provide some other prove like a rental agreement in NS, work badge or job offer letter, etc.

I'm sure they understands NS has no land border with USA so it's the only land border way of landing

I recently landed in Canada as a PR. However, I was a FSW. But even if you are a PNP there is no requirement to do your landing in the province that nominated you. You can land anywhere, except Quebec. The Border Agent will ask you where you are headed, and you can let them know. No more questions are asked and no documentation required.

Immigration is a federal law and you can enter Canada either by land, air, or sea and finish your landing formalities. Once you finish landing, you can then go to your province of nomination.

I was reading your posts, just wanted to check did you do NS landing ? I am also NS nominee and planning to do road landing. Nearest border for me Vancouver. Was just wondering if it is good idea to land in Vancouver?

Any suggestions based on your research would be helpful.
