Hi All,
Hopefully this will be my last question regarding immigration procedures on this forum!!! Wow - I never thought this day would come!!!
So, my partner received his visa and CoPR today (woohoo!!). In the instructions for landing it mentions that since he is already in legally in canada (with a visitor record), we have the option of landing at our local CIC office, and to call the CIC hotline (888 242-2100) for information on booking an appointment.
My question is - what option do I select on the CIC hotline to get to this information??? We're only about an hour drive away from the border, but if we were able to get an appointment in the next week or two, by some miracle, it would be much easier for us to go to the local office (I'm almost 36 weeks pregnant, and would honestly prefer to not take such a car trip, if it was at all avoidable). I just can't figure out how to get to the appointment information stage on the hotline. Has anyone done this??? Any tips???
