Landing at CIC office in Edmonton ,any experience?

I AM ALSO PLANNING TO DO THE SAME, JUST WAITING FOR RETURN TRACKER TO BE ACTIVATED THEN WILL CALL CIC EDMONTON, THERE IS A OLD THREAD ABOUT IT IF YOU SEARCH YOU WILL FIND IT.

They said you need COPR in hand because they will ask visa number or something like that by the phone....so we need COPR in hand...

I will do the same...also they said waiting time for Edmonton office is 6 to 8 weeks....

Hi Folks,
Congratulations to everyone who got there ppr request and copr. I have been following this thread.
I have got my COPR also.
I would appreciate if anyone is interested in going to Coutts border for flag poling this week. Please be in touch if anyone wants to drive to the border. Can take a rental car and share the ride from edmonton.

The only way to make an appointment is to spoke with an agent.....try 3...2...0

So i called CIC, the agent was nice to me, he told me it will take around 8 weeks to get a appointment from the Edmonton CIC, they can call early also or usually they suggest to do flag poll, so finger crossed hope they call within a month or so lol 8)

An update, just received a call from Edmonton CIC, they scheduled me for landing in 3rd week of December and asked me to bring my COPR, valid passport and valid work permit. so total time from call to appointment is 3-4 weeks (In my case).

Buddy, for some reason they had my phone number with them, i guess when i filled my application i mentioned it somewhere, cause when i called CIC they just confirmed my phone numbers that they had in my file, and told me i will receiving call from Edmonton CIC for appointment.

So ,I called CIC in the morning at 8 a clock to make an appointment for landing in Edmonton office ,3 hours later they call me back and they said i have appointment in 15 of DEC at 9 a clock.....so not even 2 weeks....that's great.....

I got same appointment as you, i called cic on 4 dec then i recieved a call today from cic edmonton, they scheduled me on 15 dec 9 am
