LANDED..........
13 nov, a day before the visa expires
i am landing as a commonlaw partner, i was wondering how is the proof of funds
shown to the visa officer.
1)Should the principal applicant bank statements will be enough
or i have to show them my bank statements
2)Since the principal applicant sponsored me, how one needs to show the money
to the VO.
3) i just hope that things will go smooth.

thanks,

If you were sponsored through family sponsorship you don't need to arrive with anything except your passport, immigration visa if required, and COPR.

as stated above, there is no need to show "proof of funds" when landing when you applied through spousal sponsorship.

If you look at the side panel timeline of the OP, you will notice that this is probably the dependant of an FSW principal applicant.
If I understand correctly, it's the PA that has to show proof of funds at their own landing, not the dependant(s).

landed and was asked nothing, probably less than 1 minute.
thanks
