I am in canada with my family and am waiting on my LMO coming through. The job I have been offered is skill level B in the NOC code list.
First of all can I bring the LMO to the border and get a work visa, and if so can my partner get an open work permit as part of my work permit.
My kid also attends school he is only 9, will he receive another visitor record.

When you handover the original COPR to the Immigration Officer at the airport you can tell that there is a change in your Canadian residential address. The officer will make note of that address on the COPR as well as it will be entered on to his computer. CIC will consider that new address as your mailing address and your PR card will arrive on that adress. It is a part of the landing process.
Thanks a million Wilson and all.
