They always say 45 days or something similar. Don't worry about it, it will come when it comes. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the fact the process is over...:-)

And just as an FYI, not sure if you knew this one already, but even with a PR card, when you go into the US, you will still be pulled to the side to pay the $6 fee because you have to still show your Polish passport, with a valid US visa..:-( We found that one out ourselves...at the Rainbow bridge...:-)

Haha, well the CBSA officer said 60 days and today at Service Canada they also said about 2 months, so I assume it's, like you say, gonna come when it's gonna come ;) And yeah, I know, with crossing by land to the US nothing changes much with me being a PR - but that's ok, everyone's just doing their job, so no problem with me :)

It's been exactly 2 months since I landed - no PR card yet: still hoping it's going to come on time, but when should I start getting anxious and call them?

So I landed yesterday - it was very pleasant and quick, everyone was extremely nice and helpful - a great experience!

I would like to thank everyone on this forum who helped me over the few years I kept asking questions here - both in threads and private messages. You were amazing, and I wouldn't have done it without you! From figuring out how to apply for a work permit, through filling in the PR application, until landing - you are awesome!

In particular, I would like to thank (and I hope I don't forget anyone, or misspell your nickname): CNDPR2014, canuck_in_the_uk, RobTO, scylla, MilesAway, ScottishPolish, Sous02, canadianwoman, ImABule, mega_option101 and everyone else who helped me (sorry, if I left someone out!).

As a side note, the last/first entry dates on my COPR, as the officer at the border told me, are unimportant and inconsequential, so we didn't bother correcting them and I don't think I'm going to send in an application to amend my COPR/landing record (seen as how these dates, apparently, have no bearing on my PR card/status/future citizenship application).

Congratulations on your Landing. I will be landing SOON too.
I have one question regarding Costumes.... CBSA ask me to make two list of items...
One list of items I am bringing with me to Canada... (I guess that includes clothes and personal belongings ) and another list of Items to come or shipped .... I have nothing coming.... So is there a form or shall I make my own list of items. Can you help me please? How long does it takes the officer to go through your laggage?

Sorry, can't help you here - I already lived in Canada for 3 years before I landed, so we just drove down to the border and had no accompanying and non-accompanying goods, so we did not go through all that with the officer. Try starting a new thread :)

Current processing time is 57 days, plus mailing time.

And would you know if it's 57 business days or "regular" days? When I landed the processing time was 45 days, so that's already passed, but I suppose since the pt increased that means they are having a bit of a slow down..

Regular days. Processing time when you landed doesn't matter. The current time is what to follow.

Ok, so I think I'll wait another week - I'm not planning on travelling anywhere, but it would be nice to have it my hand, so I'll give them a call if nothing arrives in a week or so :) thanks very much for your reply!
