Congrats Tolutee...
Pls I have a quick question for Tolutee & other seniors...
I applied as a single applicant and I hope to get married soon... Is it advisable to get married before or after medicals (with respect to extensions in waiting time) ?
Cos I'll love to get over dis immigration "project" soonest.
Lest I forget, I submitted my full docs to accra Nov 17, 2010 - Noc 0111.
Please advise...

Does it really matter? Either way you win- marriage is a necessity. Get married if u may and inform the visa office that your status has changed.

My dear please go ahead with your marriage, its obvious the processing time has become longer than it was last year and you may not even be called for medical until towards the end of dis year, those that submitted June last year are yet to get medical request so dont keep your spouse waiting.
What is important is that you communicate your marriage to them by way of updates as soon as the ceremony takes place
All the best

I think either way you are OK.My medical request came 1 week after my wedding.Though, adding my wife and kid to the application delayed it a bit but looking back now I think it's worth it.

Dear All

We finally got our passports back 2day with the maple leaf on them.I'm indeed grateful to God,my creator who is eternally faithful. This is indeed our year of unlimited breakthrough and our week of celebration.
A piece of advice for those expecting PPR,it is better to go to Accra and collect your visa than to send "pre-paid" through DHL.I really had a nasty experience with DHL.
CHC,Accra notified me that the visa was ready on 21.04.2011 and I forwarded the info to DHL for pick-up.Surprisingly,DHL refuse to pick up until 04 May 2011.They kept on coming up with some stupid excuses. It took God for them to pick the package.I have never seen such level of ineptitude in customer service.
Anyway,I am excited and I'm going to have a wonderful nite in the presence of God today.

Regards

Tolu,
I wish to say big congratulations to you.
The Lord who has done this for you will do for others including me in Jesus Name.
U are favoured.
