Landed in Pearson. No stamp in my passport.

Yesterday I have landed in Pearson Airport. It was two day left on my previous 6 month visa. I passed the border guard without any questions. They did not put any stamp into my passport.

I am confused. How long can I stay now? 2 days? 6 month?

I find it hard to believe that your passport was not stamped. If that's the case then someone wasn't doing their job properly.

However, according to the IRCC web site.

If you want to extend your stay in Canada, you must apply to do so. Check your temporary resident status to make sure you apply before the expiry date. This will be on your study or work permit, the stamp in your passport or, if you do not have a stamp in your passport, 6 months from the day you entered Canada.

Believe me or not, but I did not have a stamp my first entrance and I do not have it now.... And I can not understand the quote from IRCC site uniquely. Is it 6 month from my first enter or my enter from yesterday?

No stamp means you were allowed back in on your original visit. So you have two days. If you want to stay longer, you'd better get an extension application in ASAP. It must reach CIC before your original six month visit ends.

But now I am very confused. I look on my previous ticket. Last year in September I have entered on September 8, 2017. Until now, because of short February, I was thinking that 2 days left on my previous stay visa, but now it looks like I entered exact day when last visa was expired! Same day! And I do not have any stamp in my passport! What can I extend if my visa was expired yesterday? Or it will expire today? I am very confused!

I travelled to YYZ in October 2017 - I arrived with no stamp i Passport.

No stamp meas 6 months stay.

With Regards to Canada - once you arrive before you VISA expire its ok , you can stay 6 moths unless the officer document different.

Unlike USA... you must leave before visa expire.
