Well in my case, no one asked for the receipt, others didnt mentioned it either, in any case, if you do have it, might as well keep it with you

first of all congrats on ur landing and getting admission and job. very very moral boosting story. i landed in april 2013 for 15 days and now will be coming on oct 26 finally. if u co uld pm me ur contact i would love to talk to u and meet u in person also. i heard it shas become difficult to find a house now a days. is have a family of six and would be looking for a 3 bed house. if u hear from anpplyone about such a house for rent pl do let me know. i have a friend there who can book that for me.

depends on the country of your citizenship, if your citizenship country comes under visa waiver agreement with US
then no need, other wise you do need visa regardless of Canadian PR
