Hello, I too have the same issue. I landed on March 25th 2016, But the officer put the date as Feb 25th 2016 on my paper.

Not sure if you had already got your issue resolved. If you do, Can you please let give the steps of what to do next.

Thanks

This shouldn't matter at all but if you'd like to change your record of landing please see the link below:

I will try to call CIC again, but if anyone could point me out where are “Date of original entry” and “Date permanent residence was granted”, it will be really appreciated.

If 3 yr residency for citizenship then it does matter

It's better to read the question from the OP. The difference here is for two days.

I am going to flagpole tonight at the rainbow bridge.

My COPR has the wrong original entry date, can I change it at boarder office when I am landing?

Yes, let the CBSA office know about the incorrect date.

Thank you, but what proof should I bring?

Your passport. It should have the page with date stamp when you first landed in Canada.

That's right, thank you softfuel12!

Just landed and I confirmed with the CBSA officer that COPR original entry date is irrelevant for time credit.
He also said that he cannot change that date at border.

So what did he say about that? How to correct it?

When you'll apply for Citizenship which date will you populate? The one on CoPR or the actual date? It will always be inconsistent.

When you do flag-poling, you are interviewed by CBSA officer. They do not have any liability to change anything on the CoPR. I know few people who got their original /last entry date corrected at the border. I did my landing at immigration office as I knew my original date of entry is incorrect. The immigration officers are bound to correct the errors on CoPR.
