Dear All,

Need help, I have landed in November 2016, and return back to my home country after 19 days my PR card is still not delieverd to my mailing address..

Question.
What if I dont receive my PR card, what are the possibilities that I can travel back to Canada...

You'll need to apply for a PR travel document.

You can't land again without your PR card. If you are from a visa exempt country, you get a letter else it's a single entry visa sticker in your passport. You would have used the single entry at the time of landing. All subsequent trips into Canada post landing have to be done with the card.

Hi,
as Scilla mentioned he would need a PR travel document when traveling back to Canada without the PR card.

To enter Canada again, you have to apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) at the Canadian embassy that services your home country. As far as I know, it takes about 1-2 weeks to receive the document after you submit the application. You will use that document to show to the airline personnel that you can enter Canada so that you can board your flight.

As for the PR card, depending on when you landed, it might be a bit early for you to receive it (if your landing was towards the middle or end of November). You can follow this thread where people report the status of their cards to see which dates have received their cards and which ones are still waiting: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/track-your-pr-card-timeline-and-processing-times-here-t394703.0.html

Why can't you ask someone to courier it to you?
