Hi again,

Haven't been on here for a while!
My husband received his PRV and landed in April. Is there anything that needs to be done between now and when it expires?
Do we basically have the choice of applying for citizenship or renewing his PRV in 5 years?
I would be interested in any stories about people who have renewed their PRV- How long did it take etc.

Thanks.

why renew? just go for citizenship! You don't know how leglisation will change in the future with pr's plus you have to pay everytime you renew? so just go with Citizenship. And there are more advantages anyways with Citizenship.

He needs to keep track of his days out of Canada to prove he meets the residency requirements. I just found this out recently and think it will be easier to track as I go then to try and recall in 5 years.
