If u'd be looking for a job, it definitely is important to get your credentials recognized. U can do it either before u land or after -the choice is yours.

Hi,

I just received my Visa and landing papers. I saw one of your post where you have mentioned about our Credentials being evaluated. U have talked about transcripts in sealed envelopes. As per my knowledge transcripts in my case would be marks sheets and certificates that I have earned during my education in India. Please let me know if I am correct or anything else is required.
As of now I live in NJ, USA. I have a plan to visit Canada for about 2 weeks and apply for PR card, TIN card and whatever else is required and get back to USA to go on a later date. Can you suggest anything in this regard.

For my application of job I will have to get my credentials evaluated. I got many replies stating I can get transcripts from Indian University upon paying the appropriate fees. But I posses all the documents and at this point it is not possible for me to travel to India. So I am at a fix.

My Status is "In Process" from 12th april 2010,New Delhi CHC,
I Have Submitted My Full Doc on 4th march 2010 without transcripts as i was told by one consultants that Notarized copy of all mark sheets and Certificates will be fine.i also have seen two case where they had not
Submitted Transcripts with their Application and got visa without any V.Call/Addl.Doc Request.

I had Applied(to University) for and I have got transcript after my full docs. Submission.is it wise to send the transcripts
or wait for CHC to ask for the same? till date i have not received any V.call/Letter from CHC ND after AOR.

i am also worried about the delay in processing of march Applicants(New Delhi) as jan/feb Applicants were receiving their medical requests within two to three wiks after "In Process" status.

A quick question, i am a IT Security Specialist, what do i need to do in order to recoganize my education and experience. My NOC is 0213. Also i have submitted my full application last year July, till date i am waiting for meds; do you see any specific reason for delay. Just to add i stayed in UK for 5 years and applied twice for immigration and was rejected due to change of points and lack of points. Can this cause for delay.

Though the CIC guide says about transcripts, many just send xerox copies [with or w/out notarization] & they r accepted. Thus, u may like to hold on to those & await for further instructions from your CHC [is any]. Most likely, it'll not be required.

There is no cause of worries, u have not been delayed. Sometimes, post 2nd stage docs, it takes about 3-4 months to get anything from the CHC. Call it the backlog hassle.

1. The CIC website talks about quals accreditation. Check that. U may also check WES site.

2. Yes, there'd be a bit delay in your case 'coz of the previous cases. They need to tally all info against the older apps. But, not a cause of worry. If your this apps is perfect, u'd make it. RELAX !
