I thought I'd ask here because I have no idea what to do.
I submitted a permanent residency application back on may 27th. This has been in process for 4 months, however unfortunately I was laid off from my full time IT job today due to budget cuts in my company.
I was nominated by BC as a provincial nominee back when I had enough points to be nominated. I don't have enough points now though due to not having any post secondary education (I was planning to study computer science at UBC after I got PR)
I'm completely overwhelmed and have no idea what to do next. I had a 2 year closed work permit to my employer to keep me afloat until my PR application went though, but now I don't meet the conditions of that work permit as I'm no longer employed by my company.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It feels like everything has just come crashing down.
