LA Passport Turn Around Time

All Please suggest what shall I do. My package was received by LA consulate on 9th Apr, I am scheduled to Travel on 18th. Shall I drop an email to them requesting urgent processing. I have very less hope though..

You still have good chances of getting it on time. Do send them an email. Even I thought they would never respond, but yesterday morning, I sent them an email and they responded in 5 mins. If you can give a brief and genuine write up about your urgency, they might send it on time.

I think you need to re-schedule if your passport is not posted today.

sent passport to LA Office on : Apr 6th
Passport received on : Apr 8th
Current Status: still waiting to receive the passports back from the consulate

if you do not send a mailing envelope for return mail, do they send it back via priority usps mail? i know the website says "Regular mail". Does anyone has the same experience?

I received my passport with VIsa stamped today. My timelines are

Online Application: 18th March
Passport Requested: 7th April
sent passport to LA Office on : 8th April
Passport received on : 9th April
Passport posted by LA consulate: 16th April
Passport received back: 17th April
