LA having my passport for 2 months anyone in the same boat

hey guys,

LA requested my passport Nov 22, 2012 and i sent it Jan 8th, 2013, but till today haven't received it back and yet my medicals expired 20th Jan,2013, so anyone having LA keeping their passport past 2months coz its driving me crazy waiting and i need to travel which i can't do with out my passport.

Please anyone familiar with LA visa office and returning passports and corp waiting time help me out hear. sent them various emails through their website and no response and my Ecas still says in process.

By the way can they change their mind about issuing the corp since i sent in my passport late but with in the 60days...(sent it 10days to the end of the 60day grace period given to u to issue your passport)

It took LA a month and two weeks to send our passport back, and that was within the USA. It would be longer with sending to Canada. I would have to wait to travel until you get your passport back. If they haven't replied to you, either they are being bombarded with applications and aren't reading them, or they read them but don't reply.

wooh that's quiet sometime to wait when your in the state...that means it will probably take 2 -3months..guess i have to wait just hope they dont change their minds abt issuing it to me or ask me to re do my medicals.....thnx parker24
