Hi,
I have a question. I received my PR and I will be landing in a month or so. My parents already have their visitor's visa valid till june'16. So I wanted to know, what are the options for them, so that they can re-visit Canada? I would like to have their 'visa validity' increased, rather then just extending it by 6months or so. So what are the options for that?
I would really appreciate if you could help me in this regard.
Thank you.

There is no way to "increase" their current visa. They will need to apply for a new visitor visa from scratch.

Right now their only option is to apply for a new regular visitor visa. Once you have landed in Canada and become a PR - and you have a job in Canada that meets the low income cut off (LICO), they will also qualify to apply for a super visa which allows longer visits.

Thanks scylla for your help. My only question is, can we apply for a new regular visitor visa before june'16, or we will have to wait till it expires.
